Thank you for visiting the website! My name is Keiko Matsumoto. I began the Vine International Piano School in Fujigaoka Aoba-ku, Yokohama in 2007. My school is a unique place where you can learn the piano in either English or Japanese, or both.

At the Vine International Piano School, students of all abilities, from beginner to advanced levels, are accepted. Students of all nationalities are accepted, too, as long as they can understand either English or Japanese. All lessons are designed to meet an individual’s needs and interests, and you can learn not only classical music but also pop and rock music.

I also welcome the handicapped and those who are suffering from depression or other mental illnesses. Scientific studies show that playing the piano stimulates our minds and is good for our health.

I believe the most important factor in learning the piano is to enjoy playing, and am happy to help my students enjoy the beauty of playing the piano, which can greatly enrich their lives.
