Started learning the piano at age of 9 from Kazumi Ohno from Aichi University
of the Arts, then from Mieko Yamada from Nagoya University of Arts
Learned harmonic analysis and solfeggio in Nagoya Music School
In the U.S., learned the piano again from Mac Popovich, an American pianist
who performed all over the world
Graduated at top 2% of her class in Kansain University, Osaka, Japan
Played piano publically at a restaurant & bar during the college
Studied in Western Michigan University in the U.S. as an Ambassador Scholar
of Rotary International Scholarship, and received an MBA
Offered piano performances at Ward Prebyterian Church in Northville, Michigan,
and nursing/senior residence homes in Concord, California while working
for corporations in the U.S.
Returned to Japan after living in the U.S. for 9 years
Opened Vine Piano School in 2007 as the only bilingual piano school in
Aoba-ku, Yokohama
Member of Piano Teachers' National Association of Japan
